I love Halloween! I know some people don’t participate in it, but I celebrate it! It’s so fun to get the kids dressed up, pick pumpkins, carve pumpkins, eat the kids’ candy, etc. Here are some pictures of us enjoying one of my favorite times of the year.
We started the Halloween season by going on a field trip with Corinne’s preschool class to a local farm that has pumpkins. The kids got to pick one pumpkin and two gourds. After a snack of apple juice and a sugar donut, they were let loose on a hay maze and huge cornbox. Corinne and her friend loved the maze while Mason set up camp in the corn. He literally rolled around in joy in that corn! Such cheap entertainment.
We carved pumpkins on Halloween Eve.
Corinne had three opportunities to dress up this year and took full advantage. By the third costume, she would no longer let me even brush her hair. She was too focused on the end result…CANDY! We “helped” Mason decide to be a cowboy. It was not very involved which is just what he needed. Ethan wore his Halloween pjs with a bear hat.

Ah…the joy of being a kid. That’s what my blog will be about. My kids. Thus, my life.
